NYC… the flight

This is a short post because the flight on DELTA AIR took up all our time!

I booked a limo service - not WOW - really for 2 people just a SUAVE SEDAN! keke it was cheaper than catching a taxi by $30!

At the airport we SELF CHECKED IN - actually i had the GUARD there help us.
We had to take off our shoes going through customs - otherwise it was quite easy.
The plane trip was crowded.
Soo tired after 5 hrs - arrived at JFK airport in good time but had to wait 20 min or so on the RUNWAY b4 we could depart off the plane.

We paid $15 each for an airport shuttle which we waited 15-20min for.
The shuttle took us to GRAND CENTRAL where we were to switch for a lil hotel shuttle - which like took another 30 - 45min to come after lots of customers rang up and complained. Some even took a TAXI! Thanh and I were determined to catch the shuttle because we had paid for it - it really was the PRINCIPLE of the matter. It just happened we got the bad end of the deal :( Anyway - a shuttle did come eventually and we were the first to be dropped off.

PENN STATION - we had to walk up 34th street corner of 8th ave where the RAMADA NEW YORKER was situated. We like the fact that the RAMADA was centrally located - however it is a 2 1/2 star hotel.. pret-ty small (awwww)

Wat else? We had dinner at GINGER - a chinese restaurant that made whoppee spicy DINNER!
We then walked to TIMES SQUARE and WOW - sooo many BILLBOARDS and flashing LIGHTS and the CROWD!!
Highlight of THANHS night was RADIO CITY!
I wanted to be on the NEWS by waving to the camera-man at that LIVE news place but THANH said NOOOOO!!!!! kekeeke so i embaressed her by getting her to pose at RADIO CITY for numerous numbers of shot since i couldnt get it right.
We pretty much walked around the BIG APPLE and became familiar with each avenue and ST.
