New Year, New Project

What's a terrific way to Celebrate President's Day - Organise excavators and lumber people out to our yard and put them to work!! It's a tintin thing. Why do something small when you can do something big! It was exciting to have so many projects happening today.

Our Pool is underway, The process has started. We spent the end of January finalizing our pool plans and permit approval came in on the 15th Feb.
As of today, the 21st Feb, excavation happened. 2 bobcats and a team of 3 + 1 foreman dug our backyard in one day. They started @ 7:45am and left by 4:45pm.

After living here for the past 2 months, we have grown used to the neighbourhood. We discovered a nice community park (Cooper Park) about 10min walking distance from our place. A good vigorous walk or gentle pace with the kids should be enough exercise on those bored mornings/ afternoons.

JC Program update: About 5 pounds - 3kilos or so left from my original pre-pregnancy weight - Whoo hoooo!!! Then it's about maintaining it!! So difficult now because we are learning to cook different recipes every weekend - or so.. and it's Butter Chicken tonight! Yes - From Scratch!!
