24th - 29th Dec

My sisters arrived on the 24th Dec - whoohoo : a sisterly reunion (perfect time, because who knows when I will see them next, or when they will be able to travel here altogether. One big excursion before they settle settle, down (babies and all).

A KNIGHT OF MYSTERY: Our place was packed with guest dressing up in Medieval style. We all drank, ate and were merry - solving and interrogating people. The ladies sparkled in their gowns and the men in their spiffy outfits befitting their titles. Winner goes to Be with his Horse attachments and the lovely Queen Genevieve. It was a wonderful way for people to mingle and for us to show off our house. A great night had by all.

Christmas was a HUGE morning. Soo many presents packed under one tree - i have to admit: the best christmas we have ever had in 4yrs. Pretty special with family to share it with. The girls were all in love with their gifts and chantelle had a few too many gifts - LOL, after unwrapping 4, she was done. Will save the rest for other special occasion now.

Our house is starting to look and feel lived in. Charles and I have worked pretty hard at settling the whole family there. I am a stickler for routine and order, so everything is in its place and we have established a nice routine with the house. It's cozy and suits us really well. we already feel like we have lived there for months!!

26th: Road trip to Disneyland. Was afraid it would rain, but the clouds held off until the 29th when we escaped into Vegas. My siblings and their partners love shopping in the US. I feel like they would be happy to shop every day. So long as they scored a bargain, they would be happy.
Finally purchased the other 2 colours of my M&M mugs which I had started buying last time I was here.

I think we are heading home after Vegas. Everyone is tired and would prefer to sleep in a nice comfy bed rather than hotel beds. (Plus hit the sales) No Legoland this time round - but we might go through with it next time - and just do Legoland as one big trip.

Wishing you all a wonderful end to 2010 and glorious start to 2011. Hope to see many of you in the new year. Cheers!!
xoxo
