2 yr OLD

Chantelle has officially turned 2. She has a greater grasp of the English language and has started structuring 4-5 word sentences. Sentences which amazes her father and I as we listen to her to talk. In Vietnamese, she understands more than she speaks. I guess it's because she hears us speak to each other in English a lot more. My favourite line is "yes darling"... I had to reflect back on the number of times i use it, and i realise we use it a lot.

Chantelle had her pool party on Saturday. Her pals kamina, kenny, adriana and even gabriel were there in the pool. We ordered a lovely cake from cakesbyrose.com with a picture of KUNG FU PANDA on it, costing us a whooping $245. yes, pricey, but Charles wanted a yummy cake for his special girl on this special occasion.

On Sunday i took her fall/autumn clothes shopping. We racked up close to $400. Sigh, yes, i do get carried away! Yes, i do spoil her, but thats because i don't spoil myself : i mean, when was the last time i bought a new bag? or shoes for that matter?
oh GAWD, charles just came out peering over my shoulder as I finished typing in that sentence... and he proceeded to tease me.. *cRiNgE!! because i wouldnt let him read what i typed, well, he can read it AFTER i publish this post, in his own spare time when im not around, and i don't want to know what he's thinking or going to say (and he will, i just KNOW it!) ... yes, im rambling...

Anyway, my sisters Tuyen and Ai will be here on the 5th Oct.

pps: i also realised its MUCH cheaper to buy clothes online than in the stores as they have better deals and prices. I realised i could have saved a lot more online than i did going shopping! What the HECK??
