Well, the days and weeks are actually flying by quickly, and I for one am very glad. Being Pregnant is not very enjoyable. Hate the nausea, headaches, heartburn, backaches and general feeling of being uncomfortable. Why put myself in this situation? Ha, it is life. We can't escape our role in life, grin and bear it. Don't let awful situations stop you from doing what you want to do. I did envision a large family many years ago, but as it turns out, maybe 2-3 is enough for me and I will be happy with that. Well, 7wks to go, and am looking forward to pushing this lil bub out.
News/ Congratulations:
Po+Don engaged + recently purchased a new pad.

Upcoming news:

A year for babies, babies and more babies.
LOL, i would not be surprised if i was announcing people's lil bundle of joy every so often. As my friends hit their 30's their biological clock is reminding them to pro-create and experience life as a mummy. Weird, but true. Everyone I know is quite maternal. Oh joy oh joy oh joy!
Ha: but unfortunately, i cannot give out any tips on pregnancy on child rearing: am learning as i go along. I am up to comparing stories, but that's about it. Life is too hard without hearing someone constantly lecturing you on how to raise your own kid. Trial and error.
Make a mistake?
Gawd, who says they have parenting down pat? I'd like to read that book!
Do it differently the 2nd/ 3rd.. and if you have the stamina, 4th, 5th and so on and so forth... or stop and try to do the best you can, and hope that they are healthy, happy children and responsible citizens as they grow up.
Some new parents-to-be are worried that raising children in this global economic crisis would put a major strain on their budget. Sure it will: with or without the GEC. Everyone thinks about saving: but hey, deep down, you all know that you want to give your first born child everything. Good thing is, we actually have more than our parents ever did. We make more and there are usually two parents working, before creating the family, hence you all have a lil money saved up (much more than our parents/ancestors!). Plus, we have a huge amount of support: our family and extended families and friends and co-workers who were/are in your shoes. Everyone is bound to chip in and help. Create a baby registry/ have baby showers... every little contribution helps. So, sit back and enjoy your pregnancy (if you can).
My Favourite Pregnancy pampering: Fortnightly/monthly pregnancy massages.... so damn good for the back!
