Chantelle has grown so much in the past few months. She looks taller (to us) and has started putting 1-2 words together to say what she wants/feels.
Cute phrases include:
All Done
All Better?
You ok?
mamma's glasses
Dada working... google!
Baby cry/ ouch
What's that? (she is curious about everything!)
She has a mix of viet/eng vocab and is able to translate between the two. Eg, door/ Cua, fish/ Ca ....
She has also started eating a lot more meat. Rice and Pasta and Mi is still her favourite (she can eat it with a lil bit of seasoning sauce) and she would be happy. She loves cake and ice-cream and chocolate. She is a fruit eater, prefering bananas and grapes (nho),peaches and apple. Not so much the melons.
She loves reading, and drawing and identifying new objects. She is well loved by her father who coddles her every morning before he goes to work and weekends. She loves her gymboree classes and dancing along to music. A great midday napper, and bedtime sleeper. Since I started sleep training her back in late Feb, she has gone down like clock-work, and I have to admit that I feel soo much better. Just needed that peaceful time to relax after 9pm to unwind and spend with my husband.
She is learning to recite the alphabet one at a time... hopefully she can string them altogether soon.
She has a temper like her mom, and is usually grounded when she throws tantrams or throws things around her.
Just a lil progress report on Chantelle for my sake... tracking her experience so i know what to expect with my next one.
Things to look forward to:
Potty Training.... starting Mid-June (ah, motherhood is never done!)
