Leading up to Christmas 2008....

So Chantelle has turned 1, and her mummy has already become more busy. Let's back-track a few months and send up some highlights for everyone to read.

Y-Trang's arrival in the states for a 2month holiday break: 25th Nov
Have visited some shops and she has picked up a few bargains: but Y-TRang is mainly here for her little neice. Chantelle now sleeps in the same room as her aunty, and her aunty feeds, baths and play with her, while mommy looks after herself! Honestly, im just resting!

Chantelle's Vocab by 15months:
Hi
Please
Mama
Dada
Noooo
Pop (Gop)

Actions:
Vietnamese traditional greeting by a child
Horse sounds
Monkey sounds
Makes a "Diamond in the sky" when singing Twinkle Twinkle
Claps at the appropriate part when the song "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands" ... clap clap

Will create a link to Trang's U-tube page with a lot of Chantelle moments. Click and enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/user/HeavensChoco

Thanksgiving Nov 27th:
Larissa's place and Tim's parents place. Yummy turkey's all around! Had a lovely time with a lot of friends whilst eating a lot of FOOD!

Patty's Bday: Hosted at Spalti Ristorante in Palo Alto: She received a BUNCH of lovely yellow and Orange balloons which all the kids loved to play it. An intimate group of 25 or so... a scrumptuous brushetta evening for me (craving)! LOL

Moving Day 15th Dec and my birthday! Moved around the corner: this time we hired 3 men to do the moving and help with some packing. I now have access to the gym, which i have not yet visited these past 5 days. tsk tsk!
Another year older: The parents came by with pressies, cake and VIET FOOD! YAY!! Everything that i like! ^_^

News news: We are expecting again: Baby no.2 (hoping it's a boy, because we are not doing this again!) One of each is nice, but no drama if we don't: i get to recycle Chanti's clothes.... ever the saver!
Why arn't we doing it again? Hmmp! Headaches, tensions, ONE BIG emotional rollercoaster and nausea... taking one day at a time... and hoping that it will be over soon so i can enjoy this pregnancy! grrr...

As for Christmas this year, again no tree as we are still in the unpacking mode. No matter, when Chantelle understand Christmas, we will be ready with decorations and pressies. Lol, she receives pressies all the time!

Be good, Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful Christmas Holiday and hopefully ringing in the New Year with someone special. xxx
