Christmas Eve and Day was cooking preparation and eating days! Trang and Charles shopped and reviewed recipes: deciding what we were going to have for Xmas dinner. Me, I was shopping on-line for Trang's presents and organising our impromptu trips to Disneyland! Trang and Charles were basically in the kitchen all day Christmas Day: it would have been great to see, but i was so sick on Christmas, i was only holding my head and trying to handle my pain. Sigh: so long to go!

Chantelle received her many toys: a tea set and a fruit cutting items and a tunnel chute. Our house is practically turning into a mini playhouse, we keep having to store her old toys away, once she becomes bored of it. Surely spoilt!
Boxing Day: Headed up to Tim's and Patty's for Dinner and more pressies! Nancy and Patty showered Chantelle with more toys: a musical drum set and farmer ELMO! Toys which proved to be useful, as it made a lot of noise which has kept her busy these past few days. Dinner was scrumptious and so was dessert. Basically we had an extended xmas day with friends where we exchanged gifts!
We headed to Disneyland the next day. We had planned on leaving early, but Charles woke up late after such an eventful previous day. We finally left our apt at 10, but didnt actually leave Mountain View till 11am! Yes, shopping at Safeway for snacks! After driving and being stuck in traffic in central LA, we finally checked into our Ramada Limited Suites hotel at 7pmish. There, we pretty much crashed for the night: but not before heading out to dinner at RED LOBSTER (a place Charles has always wanted to try). Upon looking at the map, i realised we were pretty close to Garden Grove: where little Saigon is! Yay! Yummy viet food for the next few days (or so i thought).
Dinner for Day 2 was at chinese Seafood place: where chantelle threw a mini tantram cos she wanted her own cup of milk and straw. She cried and cried until we gave in... grr..... to my little baby!
and day 3 was yummy Chili Thai: it was so delicious, because of the level of spiciness available. It really kicked Trang's chili craving.
As for Disneyland, Trang and Charles went on all the major rides. Their favourite was the Space Splash but scoffed at the Indiana ride. They said the hype was not worth the 75min wait.... BUT, sister/wife dearest tin got them front-of-the-line passes (actually, single rider pass) and they whizzed through 2 of the longest waiting rides in minutes!
Chantelle got to ride in several memorable ones: We loved the PoohBear ride, and the Mad Hatter's Tea Party and Dumbo... but best of all: she rode her own horse.. on the CAROUSEL!
