Weekend JOY!

Chicken Alfredo and Curry Pot / Preparing Crew

Round 2 for the Curry Pot / Yummy Alfredo!

DECLARATION: Saturday night's dinner was a success!
It started out a bit of a risky business.. dinner was Chicken Alfredo Pasta and Japanese Chicken Curry. It only took 1hr to purchase the ingredients and another 1hr for the successful completion of the Alfredo Pasta. The Japanese Curry looked like a lost cause at the beginning of the night, but after consuming the Pasta, the crew flew to rescue the Curry pot. Everyone had several servings of the Curry, and i was extremely pleased that the pot did not need an extra 5 people to clean it out.

After dinner it was UNO where I won 2 games (with the help of ZK... keke) and Charles once. Settler's of Cattan was next played where sleepy Beena and I partnered together and WON!(oh wat a great NIGHT). By then, it was 12am. The next game that started was Spades, where Ehren and I partnered up against ZK and Jen and Charles. Ehren and I at one stage didnt make our target and even lost 100 points because collected too many bags. But, midway around, Ehren attempted a No-Bags and successfully completed that round. I then bid 7 and Ehren 3, in which we successfully claimed our 100 points. Before long, it was over. Ehren and I made a successful team and WON!! YAY!! Such a GOOD night for me - on a winning streak. (Wonder how'd i go at the real tables!)

Charles and i slept in on Sunday morning, and had a late brunch. Spent a bit of time in the park reading our books and then back to bed we went. Charles is OLD - have i mentioned that? He feels that Sunday.. my day, is his recouperating day.

We had dinner in San Mateo (30min from here) with Tim, Patty, Alex and Ehren. Bombay Garden, an Indian restaurant, snuggled in a very pretty downtown San Mateo. After dinner we watched BOURNE ULTIMATUM. It was action, action, ACTION all the way! Loved it!
