26th Aug - 1st Sept...

Sunday..
I took Ammi and Ai to San jose (story rd) to taste some viet cuisine. Headed towards Grand Plaza, roamed around the shops (where Ai thought it was very neat and clean). Poked our head through various food menu's (most of them elegantly set-up) and settled at a cafe.
I had Bun Rieu (crab/ shrimp soup with Tofu and egg mix) and Ai had Bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup). Ammi had a bit of both our meals - she liked my choice best. Ammi is learning how to use thee chopstick. She is successful in picking up the large/ firmer things, but noodle catching is still beyond her. (Slippery lil things!)
We purchased a few cakes (moon cakes) and did a bit of asian grocery shopping at Thanh Hai.

Where was Charles? He was cleaning up the house. Laundry/ cleaning and vacuuming the apartment. He is so good =D LOVE HIM!
Charles and I did pop out for a bit to purchase a farewell pressi for his colleague who is moving to the east coast.
A movie-fest was organised: SNATCH and MADAGASCAR were the nights choice.
Amici pizza was ordered and movies were rented.
A relaxing, and enjoyable evening.

Ammi and i took the opportunity of good weather to hit the pool again. Ammi loves the water, and has been telling me how much she wants to swim, but doesnt want to swim alone. All good, considering Charles has been harping on me to use the pool as exercise. Ai hurt her pinky toe a few days ago, kicking into a cupboard, so she wasnt able to come. She is currently hooked on Chinese movies (MULAN). The silly girl, stays up till the WEEEEEE hrs to watch the movie and as of last night, she settled onto the couch to watch the series and leave her bed. Soo naughty!!

Monday
Y chau dropped off baby stuff for me - thankyou!

Tuesday
Organised to ring Chamila at 3:30pm SYD time... we were late.
Was shopping at Westfield Valley Fair for about 3hrs.
I think we spent a LONG time at Aeropostale!
I got a couple of maternity tops at GAP - soo cheap, and Ai did the Abercrombie store . Seriously, i dont know how we spent so long at Westfields.
Had a delicious lunch and then realised it was 3:30pm already.
We quickly headed home.
Ammi rang Chamila at 4pm SYD time...

Ai took Ammi to the tennis courts to exercise for a bit and then the 3 of us hit the pools. Ahh, refreshing... and cool..
After such a healthy workout, we indulged in CINNABON's : cinnamon pasteries =D

Wednesday/ Thursday...
Way way WAY too hot to venture out.
Ai finally put up the air-con for me yesterday and i persuaded charles to sleep out in the living room - kicked Ai to our Bedroom..
We did go out to San jose for a quick lunch tho, had BANH CUON CHA LUA and Ai had PHO (which she regretted ordering) and Ammi had Shrimp/prawn noodles with nuoc mam (fish sauce..) She's a huge fan of CHILLI.
It was mostly reading, watching tv/ films/ chinese movies and napping that filled our two days.
Oh, Ai and Charles played Table tennis and pool the last two nights - giving them both a workout which required deep massages.

Had my weekly checkup.
Am measuring 2cm less than last week. The baby is neatly in the pelvis.. but i think she has a long way to go... It's Raspberry TEa and Primrose Oil if i want this baby out. Gotta go shopping.

WHoa, speaking about shopping - Charles found out that COSTPLUS imports TIMTAMS for a cost of $3.49 a PACKET! Highway ROBBERY!! good thing, Tuyen is coming over... will have to do a massive order from her.

Friday
Having dinner at TIED HOUSE tonight with friends.. mmm already know what im going to order!!
Ammi has just announced she has finished reading 'THE NOTEBOOK' : she loved it!
Ai is still asleep and its 11:16am.
Didnt do much : just nap and swim

Saturday
Nothing much, a day of relaxation, mostly sleeping actually.
Oh, Ai and charles played Table tennis in the evening - that is all.

HEY, JUST NOTICED A COOL FEATURE: I CAN NOW UPLOAD VIDEOS INTO MY BLOG!
WOW, gotta try that out soonish.
