Before she went home, she accompanied Charles and I to Magnussen's Toyota in Palo Alto (5min down our street) to pick up our BRAND NEW CAR! Made a purchase on a new Toyota Prius with the insurance $$ we got from our Corolla. Bonus news is, charles will receive $5000 back from GOOGLE INC in 3 months time. They arnt the only company around offering their employees cash-back deals. Bank of America ($3000) and Timberland ($3000) and Hyperion ($5000) and Integrated Archives Inc in Palo Alto (up to $10000) - its all about SAVING THE WORLD.
So, mum left on Thursday night, and arrived safely (didnt get lost) in Sydney. However my dad was freaking out on the other side whilst waiting for her to get out. Scared she'd be lost at the airport or land in some foreign country :P all good, she safe now.
It was TRang's Bday on Sunday, so i rang her Mobile phone whilst she was shopping at Woolworths, and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her :) cost me 80points for 8 minutes!
Went to see SPIDER MAN 3, Friday night. Google booked out various movie sessions throughout the day, for their google employees and partner. Rating? 3/5. They could have cut out a bit of stuff (boring - even by my standard), however i liked the villians created. Good ending. Other movies coming out? SHREK 3 (doesnt look too good), BOURNE ULTIMIMUM (the supremcy series - Matt Dameon) looks good, PIRATES of the CARRIBBEAN 3 looks AWESOME!
Anita is alive and well in the US. She is currently in NYC having the time of her life (msg her last on Thursday night, hopefully she travelled ok to meet her friend on LONG ISLAND) -will find out on Tuesday when im to pick her up!
