Wednesday 28th
Brian + Alex booked themselves in for the Jet Ski at noon: which postponed till 1pm.
They compared MACCA'S and deemed it "similar" to the US ones.
Charles, Tim, Patty and I met up with Tuyen for lunch at "Georges cafe" in Picadilly centre, on Castlereagh St.
The boys detoured into GOOGLE SYDNEY whilst the girls got lost trying to find it!! (can't remember how we lost each other!!) GRRR
It was such a lovely afternoon, that we ended up walking to HYDE PARK and spent time posing for the cameras.
We caught up with Brians friend, Rose + Chris who lives in Penrith. Chinta-Ria was a great atmospheric Thai restaurant, and Brian + Rose relived their travelling days. Ahh... the wonderful and entertaining stories that occur around Brian was amazing. He is one guy who has really had "adventures" on his holidays! It was ICECREAM for dessert (but much to our dismay, passionflower was no longer located at Darlingharbour!)
Thursday 29th
We sent the tourists to Taronga Zoo (9:30-12:15pm) whilst Charles and I hit the shops!
Ahhh... our budget went SKYHIGH this holiday!
We squeezed in a ride to Manly Beach. Brian caught some much needed sun-rays whilst the rest of us oohed and ahhed over the beach and sand and great WEATHER!
Had lunch at WhiteWATER: where Charles + Brian had Lobsters (actually, Crayfish: no pincers).
The Ferry home gave me a massive headache: so i had to go and rest up before dinner.
PRIME was booked for the MEN (tiny lbs beef "wagu" ranged from $55 - hundreds!). However the boys claimed it was all worth it... yeayea...
Us girls headed to ENCASA, a spanish restaurant which was really tasty.
Finished the night off with ICECREAM at PASSION FLOWER near CAPITOL THEATRE.
Ahhhh... Charles + I were naughty... playing Poker with the girls until 1am which really stuffed up our sleeping schedule for the next few days :P
Friday 30th
Brian headed down to Melbourne on the early morning flight, whilst we were still in bed.
It was early morning Paddy's market at 10:30am where Charles nearly had us lost again....(watch, wallet, pineapple, souvenirs) were purchased before it was back to the hotel in order for Alex to reach the Airport and head down to Melbourne.
We experienced "High Tea" in QVB. $30 per platter: a bit pricey, but I am guessing we were paying for the "exclusiveness" of the surrounding.
We left our GP's to themselves that night, where Charles snuggled in with a movie "SCAR FACE" which we picked up at JB HI on the way back.
Saturday 31st
We took the train down to Cabramatta (another asian suburb) and devoured Bun Bo Hue for lunch! Tuyen picked us up after running charles over and driving off before Tim + Patty got in the car!
It was a reunion with all my sisters in LIDCOMBE, and we headed off to Burwood for Lebanese Food at CAFE D'OR.
City: We finished the night off with more Poker where BE won the HUGE POT against ME. .boohoo!!
Sunday 1st JUNE
We got up early and had Yum Cha at Marigold in Chinatown, then we hiked back to meet up with Tim + Patty.
Charles took Tim to the AFL game at Moore Park where the Sydney Swans smashed their opponents!
Tuyen + I drove patty to Bondi Westfields to check out dresses and try on a few.... but we ended up in a nice jewellery store... and before we knew it, we were there longer than 3hrs!! HAHAHA... our little adventure ended up with us "LOSING" our CAR! We had no idea where we parked and then we forgot to pay for parking.... lol.... it was terrible.... Tuyen made up some story, so charles wouldnt tease us :P
We checked out on Sunday day, so it was snuggly beds for us in BERALA.
Tim + Patty continued onto Melbourne for a week before heading back to San Fran.
