Sunshine, you are my sunshine, you make me hap-py....!!!!

Summer must be arriving!
The sun was out and high above us, convertible cars with their roof-tops down and the sun blatantly beating on everyone's skin. Heaps of people enjoying the late spring, early summer sun.

Charles stripped Chantelle. I left her at home with her long sleeve shirt and pants.
Came home and she was outside with her daddy in just her long-sleeve shirt. The legs were showing and they were looked juicy and plump!
2 hrs later, it was off with the shirt... 5min later, it was off with the singlet!
Chantelle was in her diapers only! Poor girl, she has never been so free since she was born or without taking a bath! Well, as you can imagine, it was HOT.

Charles started hydrating Chantelle every 30min in case she became de-hydrated from the unusual heat wave we were experiencing today.

So, we ended up spoiling our little baby. I remember saying, no spoiling etc... but seriously you can't help it. She looks so bored with her current tiny collection of toys and has started to go for our laptops and remote controls.
Ahh babies, they make you weak and you splurge!

We bought Chantelle a little keyboard and a ride/walker assist in which she can thump/ bang, stand and explore.

Walker/rider
First effort:
Able to hold onto the handle, but very scared to take a step, considering the walker moved!
Sat on the rider instead, but somehow, managed to slide off. Her toes were barely touching the ground.

Second effort:
Got a good grip of the steering wheel whilst mum pulled and pushed her around the room twice without falling off.
Doesnt quite know what to do with all the gadgets offered on the rider.

Still scared to hold the walker part for a long time, without reaching for mommy..
awww....

Keyboard

Plunked her arms and hand on the keys and watched with fascination the lights blinking.

No real experiment as yet, as she began to get tired and sleepy after staying up since 11am with Daddy.

Well, 2 1/2 weeks to SYDNEY : we haven't started packing yet, but we surely will get started next week, as we have to make sure we pack everything that Chantelle will need.

Reminder: BBQ on the 3rd MAY at my parents place, RSVP asap and we shall see you there!
