YAY - am finally with internet again! We moved apartments on the 29th Dec and has been a week since we had real connection. AHH, gotta love cable! oh, got a phone installed as well. Apparently it was $7.50 cheaper if we installed/ had a phone line. Crazy!
So we spent 2 days moving, and 2 days re-arranging our stuff. You cant tell we moved apartments from the inside cos we set everything the same way. Feels homey though.
Why the move? We were paying a lot for old kitchen appliances and cupboards/ bathroom and carpet, so we asked for a new renovated one, for the amount we were paying. Makes sense, however, i really do hate moving. It was a killer to try to move things ourselves. I fell sick for 2 days, so lethargic and worn out. It's Charles's turn to be sick. We purchased a heater so we wouldnt have to use the apartment one, cos we wanted to lower our electricity bill. Except, we got a crappy heater that doesnt really do its job. Paid $100 for it, and we are now spewing... sort - of. Charles gave up using the thing, and turned on the heating system yesterday when he became sick :P
Rang in the NEW YEAR with another couple. Had brunch and then did a BOURNE movie marathon and had PIZZA for dinner. A relaxing start to the New Year.
Well, another big news is - my sister AI is now also engaged!! Whooo hooo! Peter got down on one knee, on a boat he hired and proposed... poor thing, my sister Ai had sea- sickness, but aside from that the proposal was accepted and everyone is all excited!!
Chantelle's progress: She can now comfortably prop herself up whilst on her tummy! She has her 4month appointment on the 14th Jan where she will recieved more shots... hopefully it wont be too bad on her... will have to wait and see.
