Have to report ..... boohoo *sniffle... i now have the makings of stretch marks... *sniffle... its under the BUlgE... GRRRRR... these red/purplish marks... that look like stretchies... it looks sore, but not really, however i can feel something stretching there sometimes. Grrr, i oil my tummy too - how can this be? awww... hope it fades away after the birth :( no other markings as yet, well, aside from the Linea nigra (that in itself is grrr).
Aside from that unpleasant news, my CRIB
arrived yesterday - un-installed. I spent 6 hrs putting it together. It was a major job - nearly did my back in, just by reading the instructions and putting it together - SITTING DOWN! It was crazy, like my back gave me heaps of uncomfortable twinges and tweaks which hurt. Thought i wouldnt be able to walk. hmmm... anyway, the crib is installed as you can see. It is placed right next to our bed. Charles didnt want it far away from us - aka in another room, he wanted the convenience of getting up, reaching over and getting to the baby asap. Sigh - i told him he was sleeping next to the crib if he insisted it being near us. He's going to spoil the baby (i can just feel it!)Oh, will purchase Mattress and bedding stuff in Aug: trying to spread it out so i have something to do each month.
The other items will all be here by the end of the week. Which means we should be settled. Have a mid-wife appointment on the 18th July. I think they are doing the group B Strep test end of july. We have a birth class on the 22nd July, and before we know it, it will be August!
oh, received more baby stuff from piano kids/family and friends.
August: Hmm, sister coming (cant wait), baby shower, 2 more birth classes and hopefully shopping with my sister :) all good.
I'm good (aside from self-body discovery), the baby is good, and i believe Charles is GREAT!
