Arghh, gained 5 pounds in 1 1/2 weeks - is that possible? YES! was eating like a HORSE/ PIG, whatever animal you want to call it - boohoo... well, the belli is definitely bigger.... getting harder to roll out of bed on a FULL bladder!
Midwife suggested i eat less rice and more meat and veggies cos im low in Iron. So, will do that.
Olga, the 2nd midwife proclaims me quite healthy otherwise, so will see them in 3 weeks time instead of the usual 2 weeks during the last tri-mester. Im ok with that.
gotta take up swimming and walking tho. Will notify you all when i hit the water.
have been slathering on mom&baby cream to help reduce stretch marks... i dont see any as yet, but im guessing you see them when the tummy goes down...
hmm.. im carrying low, and the bump is not as big as i thought it would be. just harder. however, there is this pregnant lady who is due about the same time, and her belli is half my size!

here is her scary story...

"just needed to share some real sh*** news with you. yesterday i got robbed
and scammed in one day. two different incidents. firstly..well i thought this
was first. i stupidly decided to get a bus straight to quito from the
border..though id sav myself some time ad go straight there instead of
staying with this nice couple and getting a bus straight through the
peruvian ecuadorian border for a few hours. so i stayed in thsi taxi with
these two guys..one was acting as a kind of "guide" and helping me get at
immigration..getting my stamp and so forth. The there became a "problem at
the border"...he said the border officials sometimes need to be paid ..and
that some swiss tourists didnt pay and got slashed....So by this stage they
had taken me around this dodgy side street and a dirt area with a security
guard with a GUN. We had to wait there and then they said i had to pay him
55 U.S to get through..ANd i had to provide my passport details...i should
have kicked and screamed i guess but i was sooo freaked out i just handed it
over..not to mention the exorbitant fee for the taxi apparently. THEN HE
WHISKED ME THOUGH THE CROWD TO the border and at least i got though O.k
Overpaid Paid for a bus..which was paid for by the "guide" Then had to get
in another taxi to the immigration in ecuador where the bus would pick me up
because we didnt have enough time to get back. So i have been fully
scammed. have o idea what to do cause i had to get on this bus to ecuador
..(14hours) so now i feel really shit...AND I DISCOVERED ON THE BUS TO
ECUADOR THAT MY CAMERA AND IPOD HAD BEEN STOLEN. how"s that hey?"

well, aside from a reality check, she is now fine and has made her way through the INCA trails without problems.
