YAY, my mom is visiting for 3 months - and you know what that means!
VIET FOOD!!! yumyumyum salivating!!

trang is taggin along with my mum cos dad reckons she will get lost ie, get off in some forsaken country... grr...mum is soo much more cluey than he his.. hehee
she can speak and understand english - but you just gotta say it slowly..
dad has made her promise to call EVERY night... good thing we have MSN and G-talk.

mum is excited cos she wants to visit her family down in LA... she has a sister there i believe.. mmmm.. so long as there is viet food, id go anywhere! ooo and we can get together with my uncle who is living in oakland (40min away)

They are both arriving TOMORROW - THURSDAY!! YAY!!
My sister Tuyen purchased their tix $$$$$ stuff - she soo sweet.. thanks a BILLION twini!!

Well, Bell and her man are all set for MArch/ April...
Anita is also coming over in MAY - LOL she doing a 3-4month USA trip or something!! SOooo jealous of that girl - she just came back from TASSI!!
SOO many visitors to keep me occupied for the next few months - YAY!!

Aside from the cold here in the US (winter) and seeing our monthly bill go up and up, nothing much else has changed.
Charles is enjoying his work more than ever (prolly cos he gets to go to various "google events" such as the annual SKI TRIP for team building...grr... wat about their PARTNERS??)

its really good - i checked it out.
i use the US version over here for all my directions and searches of places... since i still dont have a GPS... charles makes me print out the directions b4 i drive it...
i use the google earth to get the actual driving experience.. cos the lil car does the trip.. its cute and useful esp when it shows which exits to use or how many petrol stations are along the road to ur destination.

hmm my US "adoptive parents" are getting settled into their new house up in the CITY. The move was fun - you just gotta keep going or else the cold gets to you! They have adopted one of their cousin who is studying/ staying with them. Pretty cool. Big US family is getting bigger and bigger! yup, they still hold their fortnightly dinners - which is good fun to catch up and relax with PEOPLE (instead of an empty house, when ur spouse is working..)

ooo Dave and Michele did their first G-talk call to ME. we spoke for a few minutes - was cool! they are getting technological!
We have skyscrape too for those people interested.. tin.charles is the name to look for.
However i mainly use G-Talk. i think its much clearer than MSN, but i use that too to chat to Bell.
If you wanna chat to us via the internet, use Google talk or MSN. We dont have a home phone - only a cell - and international calls are $$$$$. Did you know, the cell phone calls are a rip off? You get charged for making AND receiving calls! only text msg is worth it. 5 cents a text msg to make and receive.. yea we on the "pay as you go plan" we figure we wont be here in the US for too long (hopefully).

okies - laundry and brekki time for me.. oo gotta call home and see whether they are ready for todays trip! WHOO HOOO - mums the word FOLKIES!! you can NEVER live without them!
