YOU can cook an EGG in this HEAT and SUN!

Wat a HOT HOT HEAT WAVE, UP TO 40 DEGREES - well it felt like it! NO WIND, NO AIR, everything was sooo STILL! Went to FRY's to buy a FAN - golly, it didnt help - wat we really need is an AIR_CONDITIONER! Ohh had lunch at a PHO HOA today - my first BOWL OF PHO since iv been here. They didnt have the rice noodles, their chilli's were big and green... basically it wasnt the same. Thanh, im warning u now - we aint eating PHO in the US again. Too disappointing. WARNING: NEVER eat a bowl of HOT SOUP in the HEAT! I was sweating and was soo glad it was over when i finished.
Charles purchased a lil i-pod shufffle. He's been downloading music onto his lil gadget all afternoon - and enjoying it :) We also purchased a vacuum cleaner *grin* guess who's doing the cleaning??
Had dinner at an Italian restaurant this evening. Cute little brushetta on triangle/ cupped up sides which held the goodies. I had the typical tomato based pasta, but charles had the garlic scampies - for dessert he had .... i had their gelatos.
Actually - it was only 35 degrees - but seriously - no WIND, no AIR - CRAZY CRAZY weather! We tried to purchase an AC on Sunday - which was better than SATURDAY - but still no AIR / BREEZE - but they were all SOLD OUT.
SOLD OUT! Can you believe that? i told charles that if it was too hot im moving into the LOCAL LIBRARY - u can always count on them to keep you COOL! Right B DOYLE? kekeke

It's finally Wednesday, and the weather is distinctly cooler. My balcony window is opened WIDE to let the BREEZE in. The leaves are rustling - which is great to hear, because iv been wanting the breeze for days now...

Ohh Charles passed his BEHIND THE WHEEL TEST yesterday *grumpy grumpy* he scored 100% - wat a nerd! I had to live with him GLOATING all the way HOME! kekeke but he felt the heat more than i did yesterday... he wasnt happy then! Well, Charles ordered a portable AC from AMAZON - and it should be arriving this FRIDAY... LOL another technology to get use to. ITS PORTABLE! Have you ever heard of THAT?
